Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Jake Harvey has been carving since he was a teenager. His grandfather introduced him to carving after noticing his interest in art. After moving to Georgia, Jake’s love of the outdoors, that was instilled in him by his father, was merged with the carving skills introduced to him by his grandfather. He has been making decoys ever since. He enjoys making working decoys, miniatures, fish decoys, and shorebirds. Decoys with simplistic painting styles and clean lines are what draws his attention. He currently resides in Warner Robins, Ga and hunts over a small spread of his decoys every year.
